Retreat Curriculum Preview - Early Bird Ends Today! 🌟

Hey Reader,

If you've been noticing,

  1. Your practice(s) are no longer serving you the way they used to
  2. There’s a haze or a film around your clarity and creativity
  3. You want to step into a new chapter or phase of yourself

These are some of the reasons why retreat immersions are so important.

They provide a cocoon of transformation all while in community and in nature.

So often the onus is on you to do your "self-care" or upleveling your practice — but more and more research is coming out showing the importance of community care.

Aside from research, Indigenous and ancient tribes know this. They gather in healing circles or talking circles to support collective and individual well-being.

I know for myself, the first half of this year felt like my practice was so stagnant. And that translated to my everyday life and running my business.

So I immersed myself in virtual experiences with one of my favorite kundalini teacher, Kia Millers, for my individual care.

I joined a barre retreat in Greece to invite a different type of practice in my life (one that didn't involve yoga or meditation). And I also put a deposit down for a meditation retreat in Topanga Canyon this November with one of my favorite Yoga mentors, Patti Q!

I’d love for you to take a peek at the schedule and some of the things I’m planning for Activating The Wise Heart Retreat.

Perhaps something in there calls you, hit reply if you’re curious about the type of practice or style I’ll be teaching.

Remember that today is the last day for the early bird deadline to save $300! By placing your deposit down now, you lock in your price and the remaining tuition is due March 7th, 2024.

So, it's 2019, and gearing up to plan my next retreat. But funnily enough, I’d never ever actually been on a retreat myself. Has that ever happened to you? Where you’re doing the thing but you’ve never actually been on the receiving side of the thing? At the time, I was a little bit on autopilot, feeling so disconnected from myself. I had lost my best friend earlier that year. And after that loss, it felt like I would never find like-minded people on my path again. I wasn’t excited about my...

Hey Reader, Something I appreciate about Latin American culture is that, despite the common use of Spanish as a shared language, each region has its unique way of expressing it. And Gallo Pinto is a perfect example of this! Gallo Pinto translates to Painted Rooster, but it’s actually a popular dish in Costa Rica typically made with beans and rice sauteed with some delicious onions, peppers, and spices. This same dish in El Salvador, where my heritage is from, is called Casamiento which means...
